How to update the Deskcove Tracker

Steps for Windows

1. Uninstall your Tracker

2. Delete %AppData% DeskCove folder by doing the following:

  • Open run.exe
  • Type %AppData%
  • Press OK
  • Delete the "Deskcove Client" folder

3. Clear the Recycling bin

4. Delete the /Deskcove folder from the C: drive.

5. Download latest version from https://app.deskcove.com/download


Steps for Mac

1. Go to the Applications folder

2. Delete Deskcove Client.app

3. Eject any shortcuts if any

4. Delete supporting files from the Application Support folder.

  • Open the Finder
  • Click on the 'Go' menu in the top menu bar.
  • Hold down the 'Option' key on the keyboard
  • 'Library' should appear in the menu between 'Home' and 'Computer'
  • Click on the 'Application Support' folder.
  • Find the ‘Deskcove Client’ folder and Delete it.

5. Clear Trash

6. Download the latest version from https://app.deskcove.com/download

7. Drag Deskcove Client to the Applications folder.

- DO NOT RUN it from the zipped folder


Steps for Linux

1. Uninstall Application

2. Download the latest version from https://app.deskcove.com/download

3. Install the latest version
